I was able to find 35 characters are also introduced with 6 of them being premium characters, each having their own strengths which players get to pair with diffrent powerups. Along with these environments come zip ties, mine tracks, jets of fire and waterfalls al while being chased by a gorilla named Cuchank. The visulas of the game is one of the many reasons fans love it, all set on a floating temple through the clouds. The game features diffrent maps for your runner to go through whilst running in comparison to the old game, with updates and new ones being released. Since the release of the free app on the App Store in 2013 the sequel has been downloaded more than 20 million downloads in the first four days according to CVG. If you have collected them all, you will be able to unlock special headgears for your character.Temple Run 2 is an endless running mobile game made and released by Imangi Studio and actually “produced, designed and programmed by husband and wife team Keith Shepherd and Natalia Luckyanova, with art by Kiril Tchangov”. Depending on the rarity, you can exchange these artifacts for a great number of gems or coins. Each map comes with its own set of artifacts, and each item comes with different values. These treasure chests often contain artifacts that you can collect. ![]() Speaking of maps, you might also encounter treasure chests along the way. They will also ask you to explore different maps or use a certain character.Įxplore Different Maps and Collect Artifacts These quests, much like the challenges, will vary in terms of the goals you need to meet. Here, you will be asked to collect 3 keys daily to unlock the quest chest and receive rewards in return. Definitely, this is something to take advantage of.Īside from the Daily Challenges, Temple Run 2 also offers Daily Quest. Interestingly, the prizes for Global Challenges are way more generous than the standard campaigns. This campaign requires longer engagement if you really want to grab the top prize. They only appear once or twice a month, and players are only given limited time to complete them. Unlike Daily and Weekly Challenges, Global Challenges are more like special events. Each skin comes with the same 3-color scheme. Tips: You can also change Coin Skins for free. With Head Start, you can easily unlock them. Apparently, red and blue coins will only appear upon reaching a certain distance. The Yellow Coins are the regular ones with single coin value, the Red Coins are double the worth, and the Blue coins are worth triple coins. Why use a head start? There are different “coin values” in Temple Run 2 that are identified by their colors. You can reduce the values at a lower rate by upgrading the Head Start ability. If you have bigger money, you can use the "Mega Head Start" that can boost you ahead for 2500km, and it will initially cost you 10,000 coins. The common "Head Start" will initially cost 2500 coins, and it will boost you ahead for 1000km. However, the tricky part is that you only have few seconds to decide if you want to use them or not. There are two types of "Head start" in this game, and they are being offered at the start of every run. Unlike most mobile games today, Temple Run 2 doesn’t have an “Energy System” and therefore allows you to replay the game infinite times without losing any resources (allowing you to master everything).Ĭollecting Coins and Power-Ups along the way You should know when is the right time to jump, slide, or tilt your device. Most of the obstacles require perfect timing to surpass them. This unpredictable gameplay provides Temple Run 2 an incredible replay value. Take note that mastery is the key to survive this endless-running adventure.Įach map comes with its own set of obstacles, and you must learn how to overcome them all. Players are highly encouraged to exert the best of their eye and hand coordination to evade the obstacles and maximize their survival chances. Keep in mind that the map and the obstacles will change dynamically for each run. This is not a formulaic Mario-esque game that you can easily master by remembering the same sequence. Temple Run 2 is a very unpredictable game. ![]() Power-Ups in the mine railways in the Sky Summit Map

![]() Does anyone know how to read the 3 logged events I included in the first post? I really thought those would be useful for troubleshooting :/ for 2.5" HDDs, and none of them have anything like a power connection next to the SATA connector, and everything I read says that 2.5" HDDs do not need external power supplied, so I'd be really surprisd if that's the issue. Do I need to buy a new enclosure that has something specifically to connect to that?ĮDIT: I've been looking at all the enclosures, SATA>USB cables, etc. In this enclosure, there's nothing connected to those pins. When I took out of the enclosure and tried to make sure all the connections were secure (which didn't end up making a difference), I did notice there were 4 horizontal pins which, from a bit of cursory research, look like they're used for power supply (They do not look like jumper pins). I'm pretty unfamiliar with HDDs, but my understanding was that 3.5" HDDs needed external power supplies while 2.5" ones didn't. I just want to be able to see it in Disk Management!Īnyone have any ideas what to do from here?Ĭlick to expand. That had been my original thought. All I want to do is wipe/reformat the drive and use it as extra removable storage, so I don't care about preserving the data on it. In Device Mgr, it shows as connected via USB 3.0 so getting enough power for a 2.5" drive shouldn't be an issue.
"We hope they still listen to what we're saying and not go out and try to drive through this area, because it is going to be congested if people do that," said Mike Miles, a district director of the California Department of Transportation, known as Caltrans.Ĭitizens clearly embraced the warnings, leaving neighborhood streets clear near the closure. Officials were optimistic that the public far and wide had gotten the message, though there was some concern that the lack of gridlock would make the public complacent and that drivers would get behind the wheel before the freeway's scheduled reopening early Monday. Rick Cole is the former mayor of Pasadena and city manager of Azusa, Ventura and Santa Monica.LOS ANGELES Unusually light traffic flowed freely through the nation's second-largest city despite fears of epic traffic jams spawned by the 53-hour shutdown of a 10-mile stretch of one of the region's most critical freeways.Īuthorities closed the segment of Interstate 405 on the western side of the metropolis to allow partial demolition of a bridge, warning motorists to stay off the roads or plan alternate routes. Someone else, of course, will be stuck with the ultimate bill for maintaining all that new road and highway asphalt. Politicians and transportation officials know that spending public dollars generates lots of profits for engineering and construction firms, employs union labor and looks like progress. Someone does know what they doing, of course. The average commuter, stuck in traffic, puts up with endless construction projects, hoping someone knows what they are doing. Unfortunately, common sense doesn’t apply when it comes to transportation funding priorities. That’s not a surprise - university studies have long shown that such “improvements” induce more people to use the widened road, fueling sprawl and increasing greenhouse gas emissions. A USC study showed that four years after the project was finished in 2015, traffic along the 10-mile corridor was actually worse. That’s what led former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa to wade into traffic one morning in a publicity stunt to get drivers to sign a petition for widening the 405 Freeway. But since that bill probably won’t come due during the term of current office holders, it’s better politics to put money into traffic “improvements” instead. If you can’t afford to do this, you’ll wind up having to reconstruct the street later on, at four or five times the cost of keeping it in good repair. If you regularly apply “slurry seal” (a thin coat of oil and fine sand) you can extend pavement life, but eventually you must grind down the surface and add a new asphalt overlay. Asphalt degrades - weather, utility cuts, time and wear and tear all take their toll. The longer you delay maintenance, the costlier it gets. And that bill will only grow.Īs a city manager, I learned the costly math of road repair. The general taxpayer foots the rest of the bill. Yet today, nationwide, only about half the cost for roads and highways is covered by user fees. With gas costing five bucks a gallon, people assume that gas tax money must be pouring into state coffers. Who doesn’t love a ribbon cutting?Īside from the fact that building back bigger will only exacerbate our reliance on fossil fuels, there is the dawning reality that there is no long-term source of funding to maintain what we have, let alone what will get added with this one-time check with 12 zeroes. ![]() After all, if an old bridge needs to be replaced, why not build a bigger bridge - and bigger highway connections on either side? More construction contracts, more jobs - more donations and support from corporations and unions. While much will go to repairs, state and local politicians will naturally direct as much as they can toward road and highway expansion. It earmarks more than $250 billion for roads, bridges, railroads, public transit, airports and ports. Nowhere is his message more pertinent than here in Southern California.Īt a time when many cities can’t keep up with potholes, Congress has just passed the bipartisan infrastructure bill, signed into law by President Joe Biden. Marohn has just written a book called “Confessions of a Recovering Engineer” that systematically demolishes the self-serving arguments of traffic engineers to justify the costs for widening and expanding America’s already vast road and highway network. “There is no conceivable plan at any level of government that can pay to maintain more than a fraction of our existing transportation infrastructure,” Chuck Marohn declared in a powerful address last week to city leaders in Costa Mesa. To switch between the two modes (showing only jobs in the current directory, or showing all known jobs) use the toggle switch at the right bottom corner. The big advantage is that you do not need to remember where you saved a job, it will automatically show in the global list. This typically can be a huge list, and it is limited (currently) to 500 most recent jobs.
